September/October Newsletter

FROM THE MANAGER

Fall is upon us with cooler weather and rainy skies. Along for the ride is a very active hurricane season. I would like to remind everyone to be prepared for inclement weather with a few small suggestions that we can all do to make preparations quick and easy. An essential preparation is keeping property clean of debris or loose branches. Also, making sure that our tie downs are secure, and notifying the airport office of anything that may be a concern before it becomes a problem. Not only will this help protect us and our properties, it also helps keep the airport as a whole looking good and being proud of a place that we call home.

On the topic of housekeeping, in the past year we have made numerous improvements around the airport and we plan on making many more. As Pearland Regional Airport continues to grow, we can all work together to build a place we are all proud of. Part of this clean-up involves personal property being left on airport-owned property. Anything left for more than a single night must be registered with the airport office, otherwise we may mistake it for being abandoned. This includes aircraft, vehicles, trailers, etc. We will make reasonable attempts to contact owners but if contact can not be made, it will be removed at the owner’s expense.

As we continue to grow and improve together, everyone is encouraged to contact the airport office with any concerns or ideas. We are constantly striving to do better and are making changes toward that goal. Even if your idea cannot be implemented immediately, it may be worth adding to our wish list for our next big project.

As a final note, we have recently added another Line Service Technician to our team. If you have not met him already, please say hello to Tony Estrada when you see him out and around the airport. Tony strives daily to provide excellent customer service to all those he encounters. Tony is also eager to help you with all your full-service fueling needs. Welcome aboard, Tony!

Stay safe and happy flying,

Jason Panos

FUELING UPDATE

Just over a year ago we informed users that Pearland Regional Airport (PRA) will no longer be able to offer full-service fueling on certain properties without an agreement in place from the property owners.

We are pleased to inform you that one property owner has signed an agreement, and we can now service that area with our fuel trucks (as seen in green below).

Properties shown below in red do not have an agreement in place and therefore we are still unable to provide service with our fuel trucks.

If you have questions about how we can continue to serve your fueling and other airport needs, please contact the FBO directly. For any questions regarding the agreements or future restricted access, please contact the owner of the property from which you access the airport.
