July/August 2021 Manager's Update

FROM THE MANAGER

What a wild weather pattern we have had this summer. I am happy that we are finally getting a break from all the rain, but this heat is no joke. As a friendly reminder, be sure to stay hydrated and safe.

KLVJ continues to grow and business is doing great. However, it is no secret that transport companies throughout the country are struggling to keep up and quite frankly are not able to. As goods and services are impacted throughout the country, fuel delivery is no exception. While we continue to grow, we continuously work very hard to ensure that we do not have fuel shortages. It is a tough battle we continue to fight for our customers but we can’t thank you enough for your continued business, patronage, and love for KLVJ.

A quick reminder regarding full-service fuel. To speed up the entire process of receiving full-service fuel and making a payment, many of you have completed the Fuel Account Authorization form and have a credit card stored on file. While this certainly streamlines the entire process, please remember in the event you cancel the card, replace the card, or for some crazy reason you decide to sell your plane and no longer want it associated with your card, be sure to let the FBO know so that we can make the necessary updates in our system. If these simple practices are followed, this should ensure you continue to receive service as quickly and effortlessly as possible.

With the continued growth at KLVJ we also continue to increase the amenities we offer. Ice has by far been the most requested item lately, and with the heat we have had it is certainly no surprise. I am happy to report that ice is now available for purchase at the FBO. Regardless if you are just passing through or based here at the airport, if you find yourself in need, please come on by and let us take care of you.

Stay Safe and Happy Flying!
